Yorktown’s Violence Against Women (VAW) programs include a shelter for women seeking to transition from abusive relationships; it is staffed 24 hours a day by a multilingual and multicultural team. Yorktown’s VAW services are committed to the well-being and empowerment of women who have been abused and to the healthy development of their children.
