Free Midday Concerts Are Taking Over Toronto Lobbies Again
Toronto lunch breaks are about to get a lot more interesting.
Sound Break, the free daytime concert series presented by TO Live, is returning later this month with a stacked lineup of local artists spanning genres, cultures, and musical traditions from across the city.
Running every Thursday at noon, Sound Break offers 45-minute live performances designed to fit perfectly into a lunch hour; no tickets, no pressure, just music. The series alternates weekly between Meridian Arts Centre and St. Lawrence Centre for the Arts, transforming public lobby spaces into intimate live music settings.
This season’s lineup highlights both emerging and established Toronto-based artists, with performances ranging from indie pop and rap to R&B, classical, Indigenous music, and global fusion.
