Uottawa Launches Country's First Research Centre Focused On Black Health

The Ottawa Citizen reports that the University of Ottawa has launched the country’s first research centre devoted exclusively to advancing the health of Canada’s Black community.

The mission of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Black Health is to study the biological, social, economic and cultural factors that contribute to health problems in the Black community, and to work towards addressing those issues.
